Frequently Asked Questions
  • What if my child is new to soccer? Great! Our staff caters to all ability levels and ensures every child receives the individual attention they require.
  • Is soccer a good sport for my child? Soccer promotes the development of motor skills, encourages peer group interaction, develops communication skills, is an excellent form of exercise and is a lot of fun.
  • Who will coach my child? All Kicks Kids coaches are fully qualified soccer coaches who have a background in teaching. We pride ourselves on providing experiences that will optimize the learning and development opportunities for each participant. At Kicks Kids we are committed to the development of great kids, and we believe soccer is a perfect vehicle to deliver growth opportunities to kids.
  • What do I need to bring along? Each player needs a soccer ball (size 3 or 4). We also require that each player wear appropriate footwear and shin guards for safety. Plenty of water is also nesesary.
  • Can I attend numerous programs year round? Children can participate on as many programs as they wish. The curriculum is delivered to stimulate every child in attendance, even those who are returning players.
  • What happens if it rains? In the event of sever inclement weather the program will be cancelled. Participants should attend any of our other sessions to make up the time lost. In the event of light rain the program will be conducted. If you are in any doubt, please travel to the program to await instruction from the coaching staff.
  • Can my child be placed on the same team as Jeremy Kozura? We do not place the children on teams. We are an instructional program where the children participate once a week in 45 minutes of structured games. The emphasis is on fun and learning the fundamentals. Over six hundred children have been involved with our program since we started in March of 2002 - all of them had a wonderful experience.
